- The all-new Cazoo website launches today, as the first step in the brand’s reinvigoration as a used-car search marketplace, giving UK car buyers immediate access to over 200,000 car listings from more than 5,000 dealers across the UK
- Acquired by MOTORS in June 2024, the all-new Cazoo aims to shake up the car search market, offering a credible challenger to the market leader for the first time
- Cazoo CEO Barry Judge believes that no car marketplace, in the UK or globally, has launched from such as strong market position
Leading motoring brand Cazoo has relaunched today [2 April] as a dedicated used car search marketplace, squarely aimed at challenging the dominance of the current market leader, providing more options and choice for UK car-buyers and car dealers.
MOTORS acquired the Cazoo brand (but not assets) in June 2024 with the aim of reviving the well-known name, which became one of the most recognisable automotive brands in the UK following major sponsorship deals at Premier League clubs. Still a household name in the UK recognised by six in ten UK consumers, MOTORS believes this strong brand equity can significantly support its growth with car buyers and dealers.
Combining the 20 year heritage of MOTORS with the superbrand of Cazoo is something MOTORS’ CEO Barry Judge believes will be a winning formula. He comments: “No car marketplace challenger brand - in the UK or globally - has started from such a strong position as Cazoo is in. The current reliance on the market leader is not good for dealers who need more than one channel to rely on for sales. This is a fresh start for Cazoo, with a totally different, and more sustainable, business model.“
Reinforcing the strong position from which Cazoo will launch, it already has a network of over 5,000 dealers across the UK, seeing it kick off with over 200,000 cars for buyers to choose from.
The first phase of the website joins the Cazoo mobile app and features refreshed, albeit instantly recognisable, branding. Aimed to make the car buying experience easier, clearer and less daunting, the website and app feature everything buyers need to find the car that’s right for them, from handy buying filters to car-buying advice, reviews and videos, so their journey doesn't have to start with knowing the make and model.
A programme of continuous website and app enhancements will see the addition of new features and tools over the coming months.
The all-new Cazoo will benefit from sustained investment in marketing, to reignite the brand as a car-buying destination of choice and a powerful partner for dealers.
Barry Judge continued: “This is a new start for the Cazoo brand which is now a dedicated marketplace. For the first time, there is a real challenger brand in the sector giving dealers more choice and a credible alternative for their vehicle advertising.”

The move will see Cazoo become the flagship brand in the expanding MOTORS’ advertising network for car dealers, which also includes the likes of eBay, Gumtree, Parkers, as well as Motors.co.uk.
